Fellows

Fellows represent diverse backgrounds, sectors, and industries. However, the fellowship strategically caters to those who are early in their pursuits or on the brink of venturing into a new endeavor.

Mission

We envision a Birmingham where creators, innovators, and disruptors feel emboldened to dream big and do big. Our goal is to offer targeted support, connections, and tools to unlock new levels of potential and change our city and our world for the better.

Testimonials

“I feel like I began a journey towards myself. I developed an awareness of my strengths and weaknesses that I can now embrace instead of shunning, and a realization that I’m not alone. The people I shared this experience with helped create a safe space for me to shed that old skin and truly be present in the moment without worry of tomorrow– just full gratitude that there’s hope for tomorrow. ”

-Brittney Gray, 2025 Fellow

“I entered the Overton Fellowship on unstable ground as a leader. I was confident in my vision for crewOS and I knew the tasks ahead of me. Through the Fellowship I gained clarity and practical guidance on the ways that I needed to grow as a leader, in order for my team to reach its full potential. Being surrounded by an incredible group of ambitious leaders and supported by great coaches pushed me to level up in a way that I didn’t think was possible. As a proud alum, I’m excited to see the Overton Fellowship continue to grow and the impact it will have on the future of Birmingham.”

-Jarrod Glasgow, 2024 Fellow

“As an Overton Fellow, I consider myself a better man in both my personal life as well as in business. The experiences I’ve gained through the Overton Project will allow me to foster a better environment and affect change in my community for years to come”

-Ace Graham, 2023 Fellow
